Overview
This internship involves engaging in daily team activities within the Admin/Finance Unit, supporting routine services and activities, and applying educational knowledge to real-life situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating the PSP Canada SharePoint site and collaborative calendar.
- Identifying improvements for SharePoint visibility and usability.
- Updating staff lists, intern lists, and schedules.
- Researching, designing, and implementing tools for updating flowcharts, HR, Procurement, and budget monitoring on SharePoint.
- Updating the Asset management tracker and office recording.
- Assisting in updating current SharePoint pages.
- Regularly updating and improving the PSP Canada SharePoint site.
- Policy updates on local SharePoint PSP Canada.
- Providing material needed from the office to support PSP Americas operations.
- Assisting with supplier correspondences and reports.
- Assisting in office procurement.
- Maintaining monthly inventory and distributing stationery supplies.
- Assisting in sending/receiving mail and couriers.
- Digitalizing administrative/finance documents.
- Asset management update and barcoding office equipment.
- Assisting in HR/admin tasks (attendance record, travel arrangements, quotes, etc.).
- Policy research within UNHCR.
- Performing other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- Experience in Administrative works is an asset.
- Experience in SharePoint is an asset.
Qualifications
University degree or college degree in progress or completed within the last 24 months.
