Overview

The Humanitarian Support Analyst will strengthen coordination, reporting, planning, proposal development, and day-to-day management support across the humanitarian portfolio. The role aims to increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and enable more strategic humanitarian leadership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inputs for donor reports, situation reports, briefing notes, dashboards, updates, and internal reports.
  • Draft, edit, format, and quality assure narrative reports and external submissions.
  • Maintain reporting calendars, deadlines, and submission trackers.
  • Consolidate achievements, indicators, risks, lessons learned, and implementation updates from multiple teams and partners.
  • Ensure reports are clear, results-focused, evidence-based, and aligned with donor requirements.
  • Support drafting of concept notes, project proposals, donor templates, presentations, and funding updates.
  • Coordinate technical, operational, and budget inputs from relevant units.
  • Track proposal pipelines, deadlines, revisions, and feedback.
  • Support the preparation of donor engagement materials and strategic summaries.
  • Assist with cross-functional follow-up between programme, operations, finance, supply chain, M&E, and communications teams.
  • Organize evidence and documentation for audits, reviews, donor visibility, and management requests.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, briefing packs, and strategic notes.
  • Undertake other priority tasks linked to humanitarian response delivery.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience in the field of humanitarian responses is required.
  • Experience in humanitarian or development settings.
  • Experience in reporting, coordination, programme support, or proposal development.
  • Experience with UN agencies, INGOs, or donor-funded programmes is an asset.
  • Experience in complex or emergency settings is highly desirable.
  • Good Knowledge of UN programme management systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Advanced Degree in International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field (Preferred).
