Overview
The Community Facilitator (Child Protection) will be responsible for implementing activities to protect children from violence, abuse, exploitation, and neglect through case management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children and their families through the case management process (six steps: identification and registration, assessment, case planning, implementation of the case plan, follow-up and review, case closure).
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits, and supervise PSS Facilitators.
- Collaborate with other program staffs in terms of activities implementations and team works.
- Prepare monthly work plans and activities plans with line manager and other team members.
- Travel field locations daily/ weekly.
- Work closely with camp-based committees and volunteers in terms of project activities implementation.
- Support the PSS Facilitators in activities implementation and capacity development.
- Activities related data collection, data entry and documentation and sending to MEAL team in timely basis.
- Guide and support PSS Facilitator in developing work plans and training plans.
- Report and refer any CP related cases/ concerns to relevant case worker/ case officer.
- Report any CSG, COC or inappropriate activity/ behavior of supervisor in timely basis.
- Take photo records of activities implementations and send to MEAL.
- Take steps to ensure that the programme benefits the most vulnerable children in communities.
- Support line manager in meetings with key stakeholders in communities.
- Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor.
Required Experience
- At least 2 years of working experiences in child protection or protection related projects.
- Experiences in community mobalization.
- Previous experience working for an NGO or other non-profit organization.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experiences.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, EXCEL, Power Point, etc
