Overview

To strengthen UNICEF’s data systems and analytical capacity, support engagement with KNBS during survey analysis and reporting, consolidate child-related indicators, develop automated dashboards, and consolidate key situation analysis for children.


Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate child-related indicators into a centralized and well-structured repository.
  • Develop automated, user-friendly dashboards.
  • Consolidate key situation analysis for children.
  • Support engagement with and assistance to KNBS during ongoing survey analysis and reporting.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in data management and analytics, including digital data systems development.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data repositories, preferably using SharePoint lists, Microsoft Dataverse, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting national statistical offices or government agencies (e.g., KNBS) in data analysis, report writing, or survey processes, particularly large-scale household surveys (e.g., Demographic Health Surveys, Household Budget Surveys).
  • Experience in evidence synthesis, analytical writing, with ability to review and improve analytical tables, draft narrative sections, and contribute to reports and evidence products such as the SitAn.
  • Experience working with child-related indicators, multidimensional poverty, demographic data, or social statistics is an added advantage.
Qualifications

Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Social Sciences, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
