Overview
The Project Analyst will ensure effective, timely, and compliant implementation of the project in line with UNDP and GEF requirements, and maintain productive engagement with national and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure overall project management, planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Manage and monitor project financial performance and ensure budget delivery.
- Execute activities by managing personnel, goods and services, including drafting terms of reference and overseeing work.
- Support stakeholder engagement and ensure gender equality and social inclusion considerations are integrated.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and make course corrections.
- Lead the development and dissemination of high-quality communication materials and promote knowledge sharing.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
- Experience in managing projects, including design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as supervising staff.
- Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Environmental Management and Policy, Natural Sciences or related field is required, or
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
