Overview
Consultant to provide technical and operational support for Integrated Supportive Supervision and Mentoring (ISSM) and Third-Party Verification (TPV) activities, focusing on Nutrition, Primary Health Care, and Nutrition Leadership and Governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational support in quality assurance for ISSM activities.
- Assist in refining ISSM tools and guidance materials.
- Provide technical guidance to field teams during ISSM activities.
- Review and analyze ISSM findings and submit recommendations.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to field teams in implementing TPV protocols.
- Support consistent application of verification methodologies, tools, and assessment standards.
- Conduct technical reviews of draft verification reports and submit quality assurance feedback.
- Identify technical issues, risks, or discrepancies and provide recommended corrective actions.
- Prepare draft technical reports summarizing ISSM and TPV activities.
- Consolidate lessons learned and technical documentation.
- Submit all reports and documentation for review.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in health systems, nutrition programs, or primary health care, including operational support and field supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting supportive supervision, mentoring, or capacity-building activities at subnational or local government levels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Health Systems Management, Social Work, or a related field.
