Overview
Support the Government of Liberia in strengthening the design, coordination, and implementation of the Ministry of Education’s Back to My Classroom (BTMC) campaign and Digital Learning Platform communications through the development and execution of communication strategies and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive BTMC communication strategy, including analysis, a costed activity plan, and essential communication assets.
- Deliver analytical reports on education programme effectiveness, strategic memos, and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and deliver high-quality communication materials and supporting assets, and identify dissemination partners.
- Establish and coordinate a Communication Taskforce and develop coordinated communication implementation plans.
- Conduct structured reporting, dissemination, and advocacy activities, including generating enrolment reports and progress reports.
- Deliver a concept note, implementation roadmap, and communication approach for the MoE Digital Learning Platform, and facilitate coordination of the Digital Learning Technical Working Group.
Required Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in program implementation within the education sector, preferably in basic education, retention and reintegration initiatives, school enrollment campaigns, or community-driven education programs.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in Education, Education Planning, Education Policy, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communication for Development (C4D), Public Policy, or a related field.
- Specialized training or certification in education outreach, community engagement, communication campaigns, behavior change communication (BCC), social mobilization, or education program management are an asset.
