Overview
The Building Blocks Technical Coordinator Consultant will serve as the focal point for all Building Blocks (BB) operations queries and activities, ensuring smooth system and user experience operations across country offices and supporting the expansion of BB for humanitarian aid.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the focal point and main point of contact for all BB operations queries and activities.
- Maintain productive working relationships between BB Global and Country Office teams, vendors, and WFP functional units.
- Oversee BB operations across Country Offices, ensuring smooth system and user experience.
- Support BB maintenance budgeting, planning, and deployment globally.
- Coordinate maintenance and configuration activities for smooth BB operations in COs.
- Communicate maintenance and configuration plans, build consensus, and engage in conflict resolution.
- Gather feedback and propose new BB features and functionalities.
- Provide operational inputs for project scopes and objectives, aligning solutions with business needs.
- Support scoping activities to evaluate BB’s potential application.
- Support the deployment, implementation, and scale-up of BB.
- Ensure key milestones are delivered on time, well tested, and deployed.
- Support CO designated BB staff, providing coaching and training.
- Provide troubleshooting support for BB and related applications and devices.
- Support SCOPE-BB integration where required.
- Identify and recommend long-term solutions to recurring field-level technical issues.
- Perform any other relevant tasks.
Required Experience
- At least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Operational IT experience is an asset.
- Product / Project management experience is an asset.
- Intermediate finance/budget skills is an asset.
Qualifications
- University degree in business, project management, IT, or a related field.
