Overview
Provides administrative assistance at various levels in organizing meetings, conference calls, video conferences, workshops, and conferences. Supports the administration of operational tasks and country office functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides administrative assistance in organizing meetings, conference calls, video conferences, workshops, and conferences.
- Prepares, reviews, edits, and formats project documentation.
- Maintains a coherent filing system for project documents.
- Responds to and handles a wide range of inquiries.
- Provides administrative support and manages meeting schedules for task teams.
- Manages inquiries related to project status.
- Maintains distribution lists, phone/address lists, and distributes documents.
- Extracts, monitors, and reports on disbursement data.
- Translates short documents from English/Arabic and Arabic/English.
- Processes travel requests for consultants.
- Drafts routine correspondence and proofreads materials.
- Records, disseminates, and tracks correspondences and minutes of meetings.
- Coordinates schedules and communicates changes.
- Undertakes ad hoc inquiries and researches information.
- Undertakes CO-support duties as assigned.
- Provides support to other staff in the unit as required.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree
