Overview
Manage the product lifecycle of wide area network infrastructure, design and specify changes, and implement global network projects. Enhance proactive monitoring capabilities and handle network event escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the product lifecycle of the wide area network infrastructure to ensure operational availability; design and specify changes for implementation.
- Implement global network projects, including device configuration, and deployment, link acceptance testing, and troubleshooting of network events.
- Enhance the team’s proactive monitoring capability and compliance by creating automated reports/alerts for network events using Splunk and OpenText Network Automation.
- Handle escalation calls from the NOC, perform triage, and resolve problems.
- Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the various network equipment and associated peripherals, including adequate follow up on problem resolution tracking using the ServiceNow tool.
- Follow and comply with the World Bank Group policies, processes, and procedures.
Required Experience
4+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
