Overview
The Inclusive Growth Support Associate will support resource mobilization, partnership development, programme implementation, and coordination for UNDP Rwanda's inclusive growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating donor intelligence matrices.
- Support preparation of concept notes, funding proposals, and briefing notes.
- Assist in documenting strategic engagements and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to maintaining a pipeline tracker for funding opportunities.
- Support research on blended finance approaches.
- Assist in compiling background research on trade and industrial policy.
- Support preparation of technical briefs and meeting summaries for MINICOM cooperation.
- Contribute to analysis of programmes supporting entrepreneurship.
- Assist in organizing consultations and workshops with MINICOM.
- Contribute to portfolio coherence by identifying linkages between initiatives.
- Assist in tracking progress of inclusive growth initiatives.
- Support preparation of donor reports and knowledge products.
- Contribute to documentation of lessons learned and case studies.
- Assist in coordinating inputs across UNDP teams.
- Support integration of gender equality and LNOB principles.
- Support coordination across programme units.
- Assist in organizing programme files and data.
- Support preparation of communication materials.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated interest or experience (up to 12 months) in: International development or economic policy, Private-sector development / entrepreneurship, Resource mobilization or partnership research, Trade, industry, or economic transformation.
- Not more than 12 months of relevant professional experience at the time of application.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in (currently enrolled or recent graduate) Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Business Administration, International Relations, Finance, or related field.
