Overview

The Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst will support and contribute to the results-based monitoring framework and strategies, and operationalize the monitoring and evaluation plan and related systems. The role will have a key technical function in enhancing the quality of results tracking and reporting and in strengthening institutional monitoring and evaluation capacities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the establishment of a robust Monitoring and Evaluation framework under the Country Programme Document.
  • Support the elaboration of the Annual Work Plan (AWP), Result-oriented annual reporting (ROAR).
  • Provide technical support on Results-Based Management (RBM) and Monitoring & Evaluation.
  • Support quality assurance (ex, PQA, Project Quality Assurance) of the results frameworks.
  • Promote evidence-based programming.
  • Ensure availability of data to feed into corporate dashboards and monitoring systems.
  • Support the design and implementation of thematic evaluations and end-of-programme evaluation.
  • Assist in sharing knowledge of results, lessons, and experiences.
  • Support and participate in the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework M&E working group meetings.
Required Experience
  • 1 month Donor priorities
  • Demonstrated interest or experience (up to 12 months): Experience around results-based management, monitoring and evaluation, statistics, and/or research methodologies.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in (currently enrolled or recent graduate) social science, economics, public health, public administration or related field.
