Overview
Engage two local consultants to support the planning, preparation, organization, and delivery of a promotional and networking event for the Pool of Trainers (PoT) and Youth-led Activities (YLAs) participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning of one event.
- Co-ordinate with the OSCE Activity Manager to prepare one event.
- Implement the event in accordance with the agreed concept.
- Prepare a short draft report, allow time for revisions, incorporate feedback, and submit the final report.
- Provide comments to an OSCE-drafted event agenda and event organisation plan.
- Draft a logistical plan.
- Identify relevant/eligible participants.
- Invite approved list of up to 50 participants.
- Contact and secure the participation of PoT/YLA participants and alumni.
- Support pre-event rehearsals for PoT/YLA participants and alumni.
- Support PoT/YLA participants’ presentations.
- Support the OSCE Activity Manager in the development of evaluation materials.
- Co-facilitate the event.
- Provide support as required throughout the event.
- Submit a draft report inclusive of work undertaken and feedback on lessons learned.
- Incorporate feedback from the OSCE Activity Manager.
Required Experience
- Experience in effectively developing and facilitating engaging and informative youth-related activities.
- Previous experience working with, or engaging in, OSCE activities.
- Working with other international organizations or civil society organizations is highly desirable.
- Existing or previous membership of the OSCE Pool of Trainers is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated motivation and commitment to successful implementation of the event.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage with young people from different communities (including through interpreters as required).
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and/or connections to facilitate and implement successful and engaging events.
- Strong written and oral presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse team with strong collaboration skills.
Qualifications
• University degree or, as a minimum, successful completion of at least three years of university.
