Overview

The incumbent safeguards the staff, visitors and property of the Mission by acting as a Security Guard at the entry point and patrolling the office premises.


Key Responsibilities
  • Screens all persons entering the OSCE premises and admits visitors upon checking identification and issuing badges.
  • Maintains the Mission Members and Visitor Log.
  • Prevents entry of unknown persons.
  • Opens and closes the OSCE Premises, checking security systems and equipment.
  • Monitors video surveillance systems and reports suspicious situations.
  • Controls admission of OSCE property into and out of the premises.
  • Conducts regular patrolling of facilities and offices.
  • Responds to emergencies and notifies relevant personnel.
  • Performs receptionist switchboard duties during non-business hours.
  • Acts as a back-up driver if needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience

Minimum one year experience in security functions in a big private enterprise, bank, national or international organization.

Qualifications

Secondary Education; Driving licence and ability to drive 4 wheels drive vehicles with manual and automatic gear boxes; Computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.

Remuneration
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deduction is EUR 647.58 OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation in Moldova. Social benefits include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at Step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. In exceptional cases, an initial appointment at up to Step 3 may be considered.
