The Project Assistant is responsible for rendering administrative support to the implementation of projects under the Women, Peace and Security, Humanitarian Action and Disaster Risk Reduction portfolio.
At least 5 years (2 years in case of Bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible experience in administrative or programme management/support is required. Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages is required. Experience in the use of ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable. Work experience in the field of gender equality and women’s empowerment is desirable. Experience in providing project support and/or coordination of activities with NGOs, UN agencies and/or EU institutions, or other donor or international organizations is desirable. Strong experience in preparing budgets, work-plans and implementation plans is desirable. Knowledge of UN Women/UNDP procurement and financial rules and regulation is an additional advantage. Experience in preparation of presentations, meetings, and administrative documentation for projects is desirable. Experience in supporting a team is desirable.
Completion of secondary education is required. Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration is desirable.
