Overview

To strengthen the technical capacity of cultural heritage authorities to work with geospatial data by providing structured training on QGIS and GeoPackage, ensuring compliance with national regulatory requirements and effective use of the “ePamiatka” system.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive 10-week training programme on QGIS and GeoPackage for cultural heritage authorities.
  • Develop agendas, presentations, methodological materials, datasets, and exercises.
  • Deliver at least 6 thematic webinars and organize group consultations.
  • Provide continuous participant support via chat and individual consultations.
  • Prepare and review assignments with individual feedback.
  • Prepare reporting documentation and coordinate with stakeholders.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in geospatial data management and GIS systems.
  • Proven experience working with QGIS and GeoPackage.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programmes.
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in geospatial data and cultural heritage.
  • Experience with government systems or digital registers is an advantage.
Qualifications

• Higher education in GIS, geoinformatics, IT, urban planning, or related fields.
