Overview

The role is responsible for delivering technical solutions that support IFC's finance portfolio, providing technical leadership and guidance for complex projects. It involves leading the design and modeling of application and data architecture, and overseeing solution delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assume the role of Technical Architect and lead solution delivery teams in the implementation, maintenance, and operation of business-critical applications.
  • Architect process integrations with applications and data platforms.
  • Architect and lead the implementation of workflow patterns.
  • Provide guidance to and work with key stakeholders on technical features of digital solutions.
  • Apply technical and business knowledge to architect and supervise the implementation of solutions.
  • Document and communicate technical analyses, designs, and specifications.
  • Work with the Information Security Team to satisfy its requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate overall systemic issues and analyze complex issues.
  • Architect and spearhead the integration of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.
  • Define principles that guide technology decisions and solution decisions.
  • Develop reusable patterns and components.
  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants, overseeing their deliveries.
  • Coordinate with project team members and mentor junior staff.
  • Lead hands-on development of PoCs and MVPs.
  • Define and enforce security, privacy, architecture, and coding standards.
Required Experience
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading large teams of developers (both onsite and offshore).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing and maintaining large-scale solutions in Microsoft .NET Framework including C#.
  • Proven experience in maintaining development best practices, including version control (using Azure DevOps), logging and monitoring (using Splunk, AppInsights).
  • Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps / Build and Release pipelines and DevOps tool chain.
  • A good understanding of Azure data platforms including Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Power BI and ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Informatica is a plus.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics or Information Systems).
  • Recommended certifications include Certified Solutions Architect (Professional Level) (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI), SAFe for Architects (ARCH), SAFe DevOps (SDP).
