Overview
The internship focuses on supporting the Operations and Investments team within the Private Sector Partnerships Service. The role involves assisting with data quality, resource management, financial matters for partners, and document development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data quality and assurance activities for PSP’s Annual Implementation Plans and Quarterly Reports.
- Support resource management activities, including monitoring implementation rates and budget reallocation.
- Assist in budget implementation planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Provide support on financial matters for National Association Partners, including agreement preparation and disbursement documentation.
- Assist in the development and revision of internal and external guidance documents.
- Help plan and execute meetings and events, and draft meeting minutes.
- Provide procurement and administrative support.
Qualifications
- Possess a university-level degree in a relevant field, for example Social Sciences, Business and Economics, International Relations, etc.
- Have advanced experience using the Microsoft Office suite, with particular attention to advanced experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Have design and document formatting skills and be detail-oriented.
- Be tech-savvy and have a keen interest in budgeting, reports and fundraising.
- Show a genuine desire to learn and adapt.
- Possess strong inter-personal skills and be a keen team-player.
- Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years of applying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO.
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR.
