Overview
The Premises Maintenance Officer ensures the proper maintenance of ICRC premises and equipment under the supervision of the Finance and Administration Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors the MIU Admin Service Task Management (STM) and addresses maintenance issues.
- Carries out maintenance works (plumbing, electricity, mechanical).
- Manages electricity recharges and gas refills.
- Manages stocks of supplies and purchases necessary materials.
- Manages standard items list and raises requests for missing or replacement items.
- Deals with external service providers and supervises their work.
- Supervises and controls maintenance-related expenses.
- Carries out tagging and verification of ICRC tangible assets.
- Is responsible for all Electrical Safety Program (ESAP)-related functions.
- Carries out regular ESAP preventive maintenance activities.
- Collaborates with the ESAP focal person.
- Updates the maintenance/services schedule for all premises.
- Observes ICRC rules and procedures regarding premises management.
- Keeps proper related files and statistics.
Required Experience
2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Qualifications
University degree in Electrical Electronics or equivalent.
