Overview

The Premises Maintenance Officer ensures the proper maintenance of ICRC premises and equipment under the supervision of the Finance and Administration Manager.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitors the MIU Admin Service Task Management (STM) and addresses maintenance issues.
  • Carries out maintenance works (plumbing, electricity, mechanical).
  • Manages electricity recharges and gas refills.
  • Manages stocks of supplies and purchases necessary materials.
  • Manages standard items list and raises requests for missing or replacement items.
  • Deals with external service providers and supervises their work.
  • Supervises and controls maintenance-related expenses.
  • Carries out tagging and verification of ICRC tangible assets.
  • Is responsible for all Electrical Safety Program (ESAP)-related functions.
  • Carries out regular ESAP preventive maintenance activities.
  • Collaborates with the ESAP focal person.
  • Updates the maintenance/services schedule for all premises.
  • Observes ICRC rules and procedures regarding premises management.
  • Keeps proper related files and statistics.
Required Experience

2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.

Qualifications

University degree in Electrical Electronics or equivalent.
