Overview

Supports the implementation of medical quality assurance tasks and procedures related to medical warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with good storage and distribution practices and performing quality control of incoming medical goods.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises physical inspections and performs quality control of medical items.
  • Files complaints and keeps collected samples up to date.
  • Follows up on regulatory protocols for reception of medical items.
  • Supports warehouse staff in creating supplier complaints and recording deviations.
  • Participates in investigating deviations and customer complaints.
  • Helps identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Facilitates continuous compliance with WHO’s GSDP.
  • Prepares periodic quality reports.
  • Ensures outsourced activity schedules are respected.
  • Supports the management of controlled drugs and disposal of medical products.
  • Ensures timely recording of specific quality-related information.
  • Facilitates and/or provides training to warehouse staff.
Required Experience
  • 3 years’ experience as a pharmacist or quality representative in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/distribution company.
  • Experience as a quality control officer in a pharmaceutical warehouse an asset.
Qualifications
  • University Degree with specialization in quality management systems (pharmacy-related).
  • A pharmacy degree certificate.

• Fluent command of English.

• Knowledge of the local language an asset.
