Overview
Provide clinical supervision of high-risk cases and conduct individual and group sessions for GBV Survivors. Support caseworkers through coaching sessions to build their capacity in dealing with complex GBV cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group sessions for women and girls exposed to GBV-related risks and vulnerabilities.
- Provide structured clinical assessments and clear case formulation.
- Develop a consistent and survivor-centered treatment plan.
- Monitor and evaluate the psychological progress of survivors.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy.
- Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, follow-up, and other documentation.
- Submit reports and updates on cases to the manager of the program, Case management officer, and designated case worker.
- Deliver specialized MHPSS consultations per survivor.
- Provide one report/month on the survivor’s situation.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in MHPSS.
- Skilled and experienced in evidence-based approaches to mental health (e.g., IPT, CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR).
- Previous experience training MHPSS staff and supervising implementation is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting GBV Survivors.
- Knowledge of and experiences in using established inter-agency standards and guidelines in MHPSS and GBV.
- Experience providing clinical supervision or leading training is a plus.
Qualifications
- MA in clinical psychology.
- Completed clinical training/practicum in a university center consisting of at least 100 hours of training under supervision and 300 hours of applied training.
- Lebanese colloquium certificate for clinical psychologists.
- License to practice the clinical psychology profession from the Ministry of Public Health.
