Overview

Support community-level communication, documentation, and feedback processes for inclusive, rights-based, and accountable programme implementation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of community communication and engagement activities.
  • Assist dissemination of accessible information on services.
  • Support awareness and behavior change activities.
  • Assist organization and documentation of community dialogues.
  • Contribute to preparation of community-friendly communication materials.
  • Collect field observations on information gaps.
  • Support coordination with district and community stakeholders.
  • Collect and organize communication materials.
  • Draft simple field notes, captions, and short stories.
  • Support documentation of good practices.
  • Assist collection of community feedback.
  • Share field observations with programme and communication teams.
  • Contribute communication inputs to monitoring and progress updates.
  • Ensure communication activities comply with UNDP ethical standards.
Required Experience
  • Demonstrated interest in development, humanitarian action, gender equality, or social inclusion.
  • Previous academic, volunteer, or community engagement experience in communication, outreach, or social development is an asset.
  • Experience working with vulnerable communities or supporting field activities is desirable.
Qualifications

Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a university programme in Communication, Journalism, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
