Overview
Support community-level communication, documentation, and feedback processes for inclusive, rights-based, and accountable programme implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of community communication and engagement activities.
- Assist dissemination of accessible information on services.
- Support awareness and behavior change activities.
- Assist organization and documentation of community dialogues.
- Contribute to preparation of community-friendly communication materials.
- Collect field observations on information gaps.
- Support coordination with district and community stakeholders.
- Collect and organize communication materials.
- Draft simple field notes, captions, and short stories.
- Support documentation of good practices.
- Assist collection of community feedback.
- Share field observations with programme and communication teams.
- Contribute communication inputs to monitoring and progress updates.
- Ensure communication activities comply with UNDP ethical standards.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated interest in development, humanitarian action, gender equality, or social inclusion.
- Previous academic, volunteer, or community engagement experience in communication, outreach, or social development is an asset.
- Experience working with vulnerable communities or supporting field activities is desirable.
Qualifications
Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a university programme in Communication, Journalism, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
