The State Project Manager will oversee the implementation of a project in Andhra Pradesh, focusing on enhancing the resilience of coastal communities to climate change through ecosystem-based adaptation. The role involves managing day-to-day project activities, monitoring results and risks, and ensuring stakeholder engagement.
Minimum of 2 years (with Master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in Coastal resilience, project management and working with national and state governments on similar assignments.
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) from a recognized institution in Environmental Studies / Environment Management/ Sustainable development/Climate Science/Natural Resources Management or closely related field is required. OR A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s Degree) from a recognized institution in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree in the field of Environmental Studies / Environment Management/Sustainable development/Climate Science/Natural Resource Management or related field.
