Overview
Provide oversight, expertise, and technical coordination for quality assurance, compliance, and risk management activities, including community engagement and accountability, data and information management, planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and protection, gender and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, provide strategic guidance to and coordinate the QAC team, ensuring quality of deliverables and incorporation of QAC strategies into the earthquake emergency appeal and overall IFRC Myanmar delegation work.
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to oversee the work of IFRC technical focal points for PGI, risk management and compliance, CEA, PMER, and IM.
- Develop and implement strategies and plans for quality assurance, compliance and risk management, CEA, data and information management, PMER, and PGI.
- Prepare high-level strategic briefings and reports for internal and external audiences, including the Head of Delegation.
- Promote a learning culture focused on quality and accountability, and advance a common accountability framework.
- Collaborate with IFRC network members on QAC aspects and work with SPRM colleagues on donor accountability.
Required Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international organization or governmental setup.
Qualifications
• University degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
