Overview
The Legal Intern will accompany Legal Advisors on various legal matters and files, contributing to the humanitarian mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting of notes, tools and guidelines for operational staff and head office.
- Management and promotion of tools.
- Participation in the development of training courses.
- Drafting and correction of various contracts in English and French.
- Follow up of human resources disputes in countries of operation.
- Follow up of litigation files in the field (employment, contractual, fiscal, criminal).
- Various legal research under different legislations.
- Archiving files in the legal database.
- Work on a specific Legal Dossier depending on academic requirements.
Required Experience
- 6 months' experience in a law firm, the legal department of a private company or a public agency involving legal research, contract drafting and/or litigation management is an asset.
- Experience in risk analysis and assessment using a comparative approach is an asset.
Qualifications
- Have a tripartite internship agreement.
- In the process of being obtained: Diploma Master 2 in Law, preference for corporate private law (contract, employment, supply, etc.).
- Intern PPI of a Law School or Other equivalent education / experience.
- Skills in legal research, summarizing information and drafting legal documents (contracts, briefing notes, etc.) are required.
- Mastering Microsoft suite is required (outlook, word, Teams, Power Point).
