Overview
Provide coordination and technical support to the National Planning Commission (NPC) and the National Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat (NNFSS) in strengthening multi-sector coordination structures and supporting the operationalization of EU budget support for the Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan III.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen multi-sector coordination mechanisms.
- Enhance the capacity of MSNP-III governance structures.
- Facilitate the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of EU budget support.
- Support advocacy for nutrition-responsive financing.
- Align MSNP-III priorities with national policies and sectoral plans.
- Ensure effective coordination and reporting to the SUN Movement Secretariat.
- Contribute to the coordination and reporting of Nepal's international commitments.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years (master's degree holders) or ten years (bachelor's degree holders) of professional experience in multi-sector coordination, nutrition governance, system strengthening, and nutrition-related planning, budgeting, and programme management at the federal level.
- At least five years of experience of working at the national level in multi-sectoral nutrition planning and programming, including policy support for the integration of MSNP priorities into sectoral plans, strategies, and programmes.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination, data analytics, facilitation, and capacity-building within a Multi Sector Nutrition programme context.
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of MSNP-III, including the roles of NPC, NNFSS, MoLMCFAGA, sectoral ministries, departments, and provincial and local governments in its implementation.
