Overview

Responsible for small to medium-sized projects under Nekemte Urban Water Supply Project, ensuring successful delivery within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints. Manages stakeholder relationships, project resources, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contributes to project studies, assessments, surveys, and data collection.
  • Prepares feasibility studies, project proposals, and technical designs.
  • Supports procurement processes and contract management.
  • Organizes and supervises construction and rehabilitation works.
  • Monitors contractors’ performance and ensures compliance with standards.
  • Prepares implementation updates, technical reports, and maintains project files.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders and ensures commissioning and handover of infrastructure.
  • Interprets and translates from English to the National language and vice versa.
Required Experience
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in WaSH, water supply, construction supervision, or infrastructure project management.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement follow-up, and supervision of contractors is an asset.
  • Experience in managing contractors.
Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, or related field.
