Overview
This internship focuses on assisting with data processing, automation, and information management tasks, including exploring generative AI tools and developing data-driven reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in exploring the use of generative AI tools (e.g., large language models) to support data processing, automation, and information management tasks.
- Carries out statistical analysis of data sets and prepare infographics and Power Point presentations.
- Designs and implements data-driven reports and dashboards using Ms Power BI.
- Develop data collection applications using Microsoft O365 suite - Sharepoint, PowerApps, Flow (Power Automate) and Ms SQL.
- Supports the development of simple prototypes or proof‑of‑concept applications that incorporate generative AI capabilities along with CPAS technical team
- Help develop technical documentation, guidance on tools and procedures on data collection and data visualization tools.
- Performs other duties as required.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or,
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent)
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor's, Master's or PH.D. Programme.
- Proficient in standard word processing and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or similar;
- Be proficient in standard office automation equipment, scanner, printer, etc.).
