Overview

The Supply Chain Assistant will support effective coordination, documentation, compliance, and performance tracking of supply chain operations. The role is essential to ensure that all processes, records, and reporting requirements are organized, up to date, and aligned with organizational standards, audit requirements, and supply chain best practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage routine administrative and financial tasks.
  • Maintain WFP Haiti Supply Chain information.
  • Maintain staff list and structure.
  • Arrange for supply chain staff on-boarding.
  • Maintain guideline and Standard operating procedures for supply chain.
  • Prepare supply chain workplan & risk register.
  • Collate and compile supply chain reports.
  • Schedule regular supply chain meetings and maintain minutes.
  • Maintain a list of delegation of authority.
  • Follow-up on Key compliance requirements.
  • Manage Supply Chain Travel plan.
  • Manage Supply Chain Training plan.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
Required Experience

Five or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the related (Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Business Management) business stream with experience in general administrative work.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school, preferably supplemented with a university degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Legal or Accounting or other relevant field.
