Overview

The Performance Monitoring Officer will develop, maintain, and review key performance indicators and monitoring frameworks to assess the performance, quality, and efficiency of divisional systems, processes, products, and services. This role involves designing and implementing performance monitoring and testing methodologies to evaluate data, products, and services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and review key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring frameworks.
  • Design and implement performance monitoring and testing methodologies.
  • Analyse performance data and operational trends to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Advise and support the validation and acceptance testing of the IDC.
  • Promote and support the implementation of the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) Quality Management System.
  • Contribute to the development, review and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Prepare technical analyses, performance monitoring reports and briefing materials.
  • Coordinate with other Divisions and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, training and guidance related to performance monitoring methodologies.
Required Experience

At least 7 years of relevant working experience in the field of geophysical science or nuclear physics, part of which should have been in an international environment.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree in physics, geophysics or a related field.

Languages Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of other official CTBTO languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is desirable.

Remuneration
CTBTO offers an attractive compensation and benefits package in accordance with the policies of the International Civil Service Commission. The salary offered may be subject to deductions to the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund and/or Health Insurance Scheme.
