Overview
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is seeking a creative leader to manage its Content and Production team, focusing on visual storytelling, digital experiences, and live events to connect the IMF's messaging with an international audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and manages the Content and Production Section, including planning, prioritizing, and coordinating the team’s work program.
- Supervises, mentors, and evaluates staff performance.
- Assigns work, establishes priorities, and monitors workflows.
- Provides strategic advice on multimedia production, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Oversees the production of multimedia content, including video, design, motion graphics, photography, and event support.
- Manages relationships with external vendors, production partners, and freelancers.
- Develops and monitors the Section’s operational and capital budgets.
- Identifies and implements improvements to production workflows, tools, and processes.
- Helps define the future direction of the IMF’s creative and production capabilities.
- Collaborates with departments across the Fund to support cross-functional initiatives.
Required Experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience, or fourteen (14) years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing multimedia content production, creative services, or visual communications in a complex organizational environment.
- Proven experience leading and supervising multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing external vendors, contracts, and production partnerships.
- Solid understanding of emerging production technologies, including digital and AI-enabled tools.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree, or equivalent, in Communications, Media, International Relations, or a related field, supplemented by relevant professional experience; or a university degree, or equivalent, and relevant professional experience.
