Overview

Support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of child protection programmes and projects to ensure vulnerable children and families have access to quality protection services.


Key Responsibilities

Required Experience
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection related areas is required.
  • Relevant experience in programme development in child protection related areas in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with child protection related programme planning, development, monitoring and evaluation is a strong asset.
  • Experience in data management and results-based reporting is highly desirable.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is highly desirable.
Qualifications

A completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in international development, international law, human rights, sociology, psychology or another relevant social science field is required.

Fluency in French and intermediate level of English (working knowledge) is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Spanish or Russian) or Haitian Creole is desirable.
