Overview
The Procurement Advisor - Quality and Risk Management role provides advisory and efficient management services in procurement, ensuring value for money and a competitive, fair, and transparent process in line with UNOPS regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies for procurement processes.
- Manage procurement processes, including planning, development, and execution.
- Develop and manage procurement strategy and reporting tools.
- Promote knowledge sharing and development in procurement.
- Supervise the procurement team.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain.
- Experience in strategic advisory to management.
- At least 3 years of experience in team supervision.
- Experience in grant management is desirable.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in procurement and/or supply chain management, commerce, business administration, public administration, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in procurement and/or supply chain management, commerce, business administration, public administration, finance, economics, or a related field combined with two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master's degree.
