Overview
To perform a range of HR tasks to support accurate implementation of WFP policies and procedures and facilitate the effective functioning of a client-focused and strategy-oriented HR services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in responding to general HR-related queries and undertake follow-up actions.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to staff on HR systems, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with relevant units on HR-related matters including payroll, contracts, and entitlements.
- Coordinate and support end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Extract, consolidate, and compile HR data for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
- Provide administrative and operational support across a range of HR activities.
- Support and deliver onboarding processes for newly recruited staff.
- Maintain confidential personnel records, HR databases, and archives.
- Draft and process HR documentation relevant to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Use corporate HR management systems, including Workday, to enter, update, and validate HR data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR management system-related queries and basic troubleshooting.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management or administrative support to human resources functions.
- Prior experience in application of with SAP System, and/or HCM Workday is an asset.
- Experience working with international humanitarian organizations, NGOs, or government institutions in a multicultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Secondary education with specialized certification in HR or supplemented by training in personnel or general administration work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field is desirable.
