Overview
The Resource Mobilization, Partnerships & Communications Specialist is responsible for securing financial resources for UNFPA's mandate and positioning the organization as a thought leader on Maternal Health, GBV, and Youth in South Sudan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a Resource Mobilization Strategy.
- Lead the design and drafting of proposals for donors.
- Maintain a donor tracking database and identify funding entry points.
- Oversee the proposal pipeline and ensure timely donor reports.
- Design and implement a visibility strategy.
- Produce multimedia content.
- Act as the primary focal point for media.
- Manage the UNFPA South Sudan website and social media.
- Represent UNFPA in UN communication working groups.
- Transform programmatic data into "Donor Briefs" and "Impact Infographics".
- Ensure adherence to donor visibility requirements.
- Coordinate the documentation of "Best Practices" and "Lessons Learned".
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in resource mobilization and/or high-level communications within an international organization.
Qualifications
Advanced (Masters) Degree in International Relations, Communications, Journalism, Public Health, or a related field.
