Overview

The National Land Data and Information Specialist will provide technical support for the implementation of land consolidation activities under the UTF Project, focusing on data accuracy and stakeholder coordination.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for land consolidation activities.
  • Provide technical support focusing on data accuracy and stakeholder coordination.
  • Work closely with GIS specialists.
  • Coordinate with local owners to collect data.
  • Provide technical support for land consolidation pilot projects.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in training and workshops.
  • Facilitate consensus-building among stakeholders.
  • Build network with municipality representatives.
  • Support liaising with Scientific Research Centre of Agriculture Soil Laboratory.
  • Support quality assurance and technical control of deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of the National Land Consolidation Programme.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of partner liaison, property data management, land management, or data management within large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating data systems, particularly Georgian land registry systems (NAPR) and working with cadastral data.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with state agencies, municipalities, and local government bodies.
  • Experience with field work and landowner contact in the NAPR systematic land registration program.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and large-scale development projects will be an asset.
  • Prior experience in state-owned enterprises or sectors involving large-scale land/infrastructure coordination is a significant asset.
  • Experience in working with international organizations, government agencies and development partners is an asset.
  • Working experience at a UN organization is an asset.
  • Experience working with rural communities and farmers is an asset.
Qualifications

• Master’s degree in land administration, social or humanitarian sciences, or a related field.
