Overview

Consultant to support the Digital Governance and Platforms (DGP) team in implementing structured governance workflows and mapping operational workflows for the Website, Editorial and Governance (WEG) section.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess WEG section workflows for potential implementation in ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate the implementation and adoption of DGP governance services in ServiceNow (Service Gateway).
  • Track progress against defined deliverables.
  • Ensure workflows are effectively implemented in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in digital governance, web management, or digital project coordination.
  • Proven experience supporting the implementation of operational workflows.
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
  • Track record of maintaining communication and meeting deadlines in a virtual work environment.
  • Familiarity with UNICEF’s digital ecosystem and governance processes is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the implementation and rollout of structured workflows on service management platforms.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow specifically considered essential.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (e.g., Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Virtual Agent) is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong skills in tracking deliverables, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely follow-up and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work across global, regional, and country-level teams.
  • Ability to facilitate coordination, follow up effectively, and ensure alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Prior work experience with UNICEF or other UN organization is an asset.
Qualifications

A university degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Digital Governance, or related field. Information Technology, Web Development, or related subjects.
