Overview
Support the structural development and content curation of the South Asia Energy Transition Knowledge Hub. The role aims to transform the platform from a conceptual strategy to a data-driven reality, acting as a Knowledge Broker to prove its value and support resource mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with stakeholder-centric curation of regional energy diagnostics, NDCs, and Net-Zero roadmaps.
- Contribute to content localization by adapting global best practices for South Asian contexts.
- Provide digital portal development support by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data for the "South Asia Energy Transition Dashboard".
- Support thematic synthesis of technical findings into policy briefs and investor factsheets.
- Assist with donor mapping and contribute to proposal development by drafting background materials and gathering data points.
- Support strategic event coordination and provide outreach support for stakeholder directories and communications materials.
- Gather and compile data updates or feedback from national government focal points.
- Help document minutes, meeting outcomes, and operational lessons learned.
Required Experience
- Familiarity with the energy landscape of South Asia, including knowledge of national NDCs, renewable energy targets, or cross-border electricity trade challenges.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive desk research, synthesizing complex technical documents, and translating data into concise summaries or policy briefs.
- Experience in organizing and maintaining digital libraries, databases, or document repositories with a high degree of attention to detail and data integrity.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets) and familiarity with content management principles for web-based portals or shared workspaces.
- Previous experience (through internships, volunteer work, or university projects) in stakeholder mapping, donor research, or supporting resource mobilization efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development, Energy Policy, Economics, International Relations, or Information Management.
- Must be enrolled in a university program such as Bachelor, Masters or Ph.D. (or the equivalent) or have graduated from such studies within three (3) years prior to the applications date of the internship.
