Overview
The Quality Engineer role focuses on ensuring quality control, technical compliance, and HSSE monitoring for infrastructure projects through site inspections, document audits, and technical analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct planned or ad-hoc site inspections, document reviews, compliance audits, and technical analyses.
- Perform targeted checks on materials, execution methods, completed works, and HSSE compliance.
- Verify the consistency, completeness, and quality of documentation.
- Assess the quality of follow-up and traceability of controls.
- Analyze control reports and documents.
- Monitor technical compliance of works.
- Monitor HSSE compliance.
- Prepare inspection and mission reports.
- Contribute to quality and HSSE performance dashboards and indicators.
Required Experience
- Two to six years of relevant experience in construction or rehabilitation of buildings, roads, civil engineering structures, drinking water or irrigation systems, or other similar infrastructure, depending on academic qualifications or university degrees.
- Desired: Work experience with international organizations, UN agencies, or donor-funded projects is a significant asset.
Qualifications
- Required: University degree at Bachelor's level in civil engineering, rural engineering, architecture, or a related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Required: Secondary diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience in the field.
