Overview

The Education Officer provides technical and operational support for the scale-up of Learning Centres in Gaza, focusing on foundational learning, learning continuity, and recovery. The role supports the implementation of the education response through coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and partners, with a focus on disability inclusion and multi-sectoral inputs.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in education programme planning, management, and research is required. Demonstrated experience in programme management, as well as experience providing and/or overseeing specialized services for children with disabilities or children with additional needs is required. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Education, Psychology, Sociology and any other related fields
