Overview
Support for Ebola response operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, requiring a multidisciplinary approach to community engagement, health system strengthening, and essential service access.
Key Responsibilities
- Support rapid assessments, program planning, implementation, and monitoring
- Strengthen coordination with government, partners, and communities
- Enhance capacity of national staff and frontline workers
- Ensure accountability to affected populations, including feedback and adaptation mechanisms
- Integrate gender, protection, and inclusion considerations into all interventions
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience (requirements may vary depending on volunteer category)
- Demonstrated experience in humanitarian or emergency contexts, preferably in epidemic response
- A strong understanding of Ebola or similar health emergencies is an asset
- For Data Analysis: experience with data management systems used in emergency settings
- Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in one of the relevant fields for the profiles indicated (public health, social sciences, communication, nutrition, gender studies, psychology, data science, statistics, epidemiology, public health, information management, or related field)
