Overview

Design and develop a Disability Data Hub, serving as a centralized repository for disability-related information, policies, and resources.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with partners to understand requirements and content categories.
  • Develop a prototype design/layout for the Disability Data Hub pages.
  • Integrate a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Upload and organize initial content.
  • Provide documentation and guidance for future updates.
Required Experience
  • Over 3 years Professional experience in web design and development, with proven capacity in CMS integration (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, Figma plus coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive design.
  • Solid grasp of UX principles, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing websites, user interfaces, and creative projects (freelance, internships, coursework).
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent certificate/bootcamp with strong portfolio).
