Overview
Develop and translate social media content in Uzbek to raise awareness of the United Nations' work in Uzbekistan and promote engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft 2–3 text-based posts per week in Uzbek for the UN Uzbekistan Telegram channel.
- Draft 1–2 social media posts per week in Uzbek for the UN Uzbekistan Instagram page.
- Prepare 50-100 words summary/post based on the SG’s speech and statement in Uzbek language, with 1 post expected per week.
Required Experience
- Experience in social media content creation and copywriting.
- Ability to draft clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content for social media platforms.
- Experience adapting content for different digital platforms, particularly Telegram and Instagram.
- Strong written communication skills in Uzbek.
- Experience with translation and adaptation of communications materials is an asset.
- Familiarity with social media management and content planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar content creation tools is desirable.
