Overview
The consultant will design and conduct a capacity-building needs assessment and develop a capacity-building plan for governmental and non-governmental service providers. The aim is to strengthen their technical capacity to effectively respond to, manage, and refer cases of violence against women from marginalized groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an inception report detailing work plan and methodology.
- Conduct a desk review of relevant references and work mechanisms.
- Develop data collection tools, including questionnaires and interview questions.
- Collect and categorize data, identifying findings.
- Develop a capacity-building needs assessment report and a capacity-building plan.
- Present findings in validation workshops.
- Submit a final narrative report including description of assignment, achievements, methodology, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in public health, women’s rights and violence against women is required.
- Demonstrated experience in capacity assessments covering both health and social service sectors is required.
- Experience with the social protection system is desirable.
- Experience with the UN system or/and International Organizations is desirable.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in public health.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
