Overview
The Project Manager - TRANSFORM will lead the implementation of the TRANSFORM project, managing its technical and operational aspects to ensure successful execution and delivery of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate effective project planning and implementation, including developing work plans and budgets, managing day-to-day activities, and ensuring alignment with UNDP policies.
- Establish partnerships and open channels of communication with stakeholders, including government officials, businesses, and NGOs.
- Monitor and report on progress in implementing project activities and achieving targets, including conducting field visits and liaising with the Finance team.
- Facilitate knowledge and capacity building, knowledge sharing, and advocacy relevant to the project's thematic area.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience as a lead project manager in relevant sectors.
- Experience in gathering and processing data and information.
- Experience in managing work teams and supervising technical assessments, reports and technical documents.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in a field related to Environment, Natural Resources Management, Rural Development, Conservation, and/or Sustainable Agriculture, or a closely related field.
- OR A first-level university degree (bachelor´s degree) in the areas mentioned above, in combination with additional 2 years of qualifying experience.
