Overview

The Energy Efficiency Analyst will provide technical support in the design process, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, and social & environmental screening for smart buildings and green infrastructure development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing public buildings and community infrastructures for thermal retrofitting or environmentally responsible construction.
  • Facilitate on-site detailed feasibility study (DFS) and Social & Environmental Safeguard/Screening (SES) of selected buildings and infrastructure.
  • Ensure selected structures incorporate nature-based and energy efficient design solutions.
  • Conduct thermal performance assessments and assess feasibility of thermal cooling measures.
  • Prepare feasibility reports with cost estimates, energy requirements, and economic viability.
  • Provide support to develop detailed technical designs and specifications.
  • Monitor restoration works of wetlands/ponds and supervise retrofitting and construction works.
  • Design and deliver training programs for municipal engineers, contractors, and community groups.
  • Develop monitoring systems to track performance indicators and prepare case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
Required Experience

Minimum two (2) years (with Master’s degree) or four (4) years (with Bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible experience in the design, development, and implementation of energy efficient building, pond restoration or other aspects of urban heat management, including experience in renewable energy system.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Energy Engineering or Engineering in Environment Science or Energy Efficient Building, or related field is required. OR A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the above-mentioned areas, in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience.
