Overview

Responsible for coordinating the formulation, planning, design, and implementation of the integrated monitoring, evaluation, and research plan of the country programme. The role ensures a coherent, evidence-driven country programme that supports UNICEF China’s strategic transition.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support/guide the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) functions and processes of the Country Programme.
  • Monitor programme implementation, performance, results, and funding.
  • Support programme sections undertaking evaluations under the Costed Evaluation Plan.
  • Coordinate the development/management of an updated UNICEF-China knowledge base on children and caregivers.
  • Support the Deputy Representatives Programme and Operations in coordinating emergency interventions.
  • Strengthen government information systems and national evaluation capacity.
  • Manage and supervise the PME Section's workplan activities and projects.
Required Experience
  • Eight years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Developing-country work experience.
  • At least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning.
Qualifications

• An advanced university degree in social sciences, statistics, planning development, or planning.
