Overview
Responsible for coordinating the formulation, planning, design, and implementation of the integrated monitoring, evaluation, and research plan of the country programme. The role ensures a coherent, evidence-driven country programme that supports UNICEF China’s strategic transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support/guide the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) functions and processes of the Country Programme.
- Monitor programme implementation, performance, results, and funding.
- Support programme sections undertaking evaluations under the Costed Evaluation Plan.
- Coordinate the development/management of an updated UNICEF-China knowledge base on children and caregivers.
- Support the Deputy Representatives Programme and Operations in coordinating emergency interventions.
- Strengthen government information systems and national evaluation capacity.
- Manage and supervise the PME Section's workplan activities and projects.
Required Experience
- Eight years of relevant professional work experience.
- Developing-country work experience.
- At least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning.
Qualifications
• An advanced university degree in social sciences, statistics, planning development, or planning.
