Overview
Provide expert technical and market advice on gas and LNG opportunities, including FSRU terminals, gas pipelines, and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support investment decision making by providing technical and techno-commercial expertise for gas and LNG investment transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality reviews, appraisals, and recommendations.
- Support portfolio management by monitoring technical aspects of gas & LNG investments.
- Conduct market analysis and provide thought leadership on emerging trends in the gas and LNG industries.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sector strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the global gas and LNG sector, including roles such as senior engineer or CTO within an International Oil Company (IOC) or an engineering consultancy.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful results in a variety of different locations including in developing economies.
- Strong technical knowledge of gas and LNG infrastructure, supply chains and emerging technologies.
- Expertise in project development and project finance.
- Familiarity with commercial and contractual norms relating to supply of gas and LNG.
- Related experience in CCUS would be an additional benefit.
- High level knowledge of trends in global LNG and regional gas markets is a plus.
- Experience with competitive fuel analysis is a plus.
Qualifications
• Advanced degree (master’s or higher) in engineering or a closely related field.
