Overview
Operations Officer to support the Country Manager in business development, relationship management, and operational support for IFC’s activities in Ukraine.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business development efforts.
- Provide input on project development and management.
- Assist in coordinating missions and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen solutions by involving other parts of the WBG.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and government officials.
- Conduct engagements with clients, stakeholders, and donors.
- Provide on-ground support in monitoring project progress and impact.
- Assist in building and maintaining relations with IFIs, DFIs, and donor governments.
- Coordinate donor engagement activities and track follow-up actions.
- Support fundraising pipeline development.
- Draft talking points, briefs, and summaries for donor meetings.
- Track donor commitments and prepare donor engagement reports.
- Facilitate information sharing among the WBG, development partners, and government counterparts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and identify business opportunities.
- Represent and provide visibility for IFC.
- Prepare/coordinate briefing material for the country.
- Oversee the timely production and delivery of communications materials.
Required Experience
At least 7 years of work experience in banking, finance, consulting, or another fast-paced, knowledge-based work environment. Experience engaging with government, donor partners and the private sector in Ukraine preferred.
Qualifications
Master’s degree from a reputable university; preferably with major in economics, business or finance.
