Overview
Provide simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation services between English and Thai for the Thailand–UNIDIR Workshop to ensure effective communication and full participation of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation between English and Thai (as required) throughout the three-day workshop;
- Ensure accurate interpretation of technical terminology related to ICT, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and attribution processes;
- Interpret legal and policy discussions, including references to international law, UN frameworks, and national legal frameworks;
- Support interpretation during expert briefings, group discussions and exercises, and scenario-based simulations of inter-agency decision-making;
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all discussions;
- Collaborate with organizers and subject-matter experts to familiarize themselves with workshop materials in advance.
Required Experience
Extensive experience in drafting a variety of written outputs, including reports, minutes and summary records. Prior experience with the United Nations would be desirable.
